Remain Persistent & Trust The Process

Many entrepreneurs end up giving up on their business, because they do not see a breakthrough or their version of success quick enough and so they end up ‘throwing in the towel’ and walking away. The sad truth is, this often happens just before they were about to experience a tipping point, but by then, it’s too late and they revert back to ‘square one’.

I want to talk about a vital ingredient to your success as an entrepreneur.

An ingredient that, when applied, will help you to avoid giving up before your breakthrough moment.

If you don’t apply this, it’s likely you will become deflated and run out of steam. Without the application of this, most entrepreneurs give up and never actually realise their dreams. If you don’t demonstrate this, you may never experience the breakthroughs you dream of…

However, if you do apply this, you will become stronger and more resilient. If you showcase this, you will have more fire in your belly and go to levels that you once dreamt of; by activating this, you will experience breakthroughs and feel an overwhelming sense of achievement…..

What am I talking about? I’m talking about persistence.

And what do I mean by persistence? Persistence is the ability to stick with something and never giving up, until you reach a breakthrough.

For example, if you practice the violin for over a year in order to play “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” perfectly, that’s persistence!

As Napoleon Hill once said, there are 4 key ways to develop persistence:

  1. Have a definite purpose (backed by a burning desire)
  2. Have a definite plan (with continued action)
  3. A mind closed tightly (against negative influences)
  4. A friendly alliance (with one or more people for encouragement & accountability)

The question is…..which one of those can you apply today to improve your level of persistence in your business journey?

If you’re feeling stuck and want to overcome the hurdles you may be experiencing in your business, coaching is one way to achieve this. Send an email to info@melissashervington.com with the subject ‘Business Coaching Enquiry’ and I will get back to you with some options.
